حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى الْعَنَزِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ، قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا لاَقُو الْعَدُوِّ غَدًا وَلَيْسَتْ مَعَنَا مُدًى قَالَ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَعْجِلْ أَوْ أَرْنِي مَا أَنْهَرَ الدَّمَ وَذُكِرَ اسْمُ اللَّهِ فَكُلْ لَيْسَ السِّنَّ وَالظُّفُرَ وَسَأُحَدِّثُكَ أَمَّا السِّنُّ فَعَظْمٌ وَأَمَّا الظُّفُرُ فَمُدَى الْحَبَشَةِ " . قَالَ وَأَصَبْنَا نَهْبَ إِبِلٍ وَغَنَمٍ فَنَدَّ مِنْهَا بَعِيرٌ فَرَمَاهُ رَجُلٌ بِسَهْمٍ فَحَبَسَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ لِهَذِهِ الإِبِلِ أَوَابِدَ كَأَوَابِدِ الْوَحْشِ فَإِذَا غَلَبَكُمْ مِنْهَا شَىْءٌ فَاصْنَعُوا بِهِ هَكَذَا " .
Traduction
Rapporté par Rafi' b. Khadij : Nous avons dit au Messager d’Allah ﷺ : « Nous allons affronter l’ennemi demain, mais nous n’avons pas de couteaux. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a répondu : « Dépêchez-vous ou prenez vos précautions pour trouver des couteaux qui feront couler le sang, et prononcez le nom d’Allah. Ensuite, mangez, mais n’utilisez ni dent ni ongle. Je vais vous expliquer pourquoi il n’est pas permis d’abattre un animal avec une dent ou un os : l’ongle est un os, et l’os est le couteau des Abyssiniens. » (Le narrateur ajoute :) « Nous avons eu comme butin des chameaux et des chèvres, et l’un des chameaux est devenu sauvage. L’un d’entre nous l’a maîtrisé avec une flèche. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : “Ce chameau est devenu sauvage comme une bête sauvage, donc si un animal devient incontrôlable, faites de même.” »
