Sahih Muslim 5073
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ، بَشَّارٍ - وَاللَّفْظُ لاِبْنِ الْمُثَنَّى - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ، بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ الإِيَامِيِّ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا نَبْدَأُ بِهِ فِي يَوْمِنَا هَذَا نُصَلِّي ثُمَّ نَرْجِعُ فَنَنْحَرُ فَمَنْ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ فَقَدْ أَصَابَ سُنَّتَنَا وَمَنْ ذَبَحَ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ لَحْمٌ قَدَّمَهُ لأَهْلِهِ لَيْسَ مِنَ النُّسُكِ فِي شَىْءٍ " . وَكَانَ أَبُو بُرْدَةَ بْنُ نِيَارٍ قَدْ ذَبَحَ فَقَالَ عِنْدِي جَذَعَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنْ مُسِنَّةٍ فَقَالَ " اذْبَحْهَا وَلَنْ تَجْزِيَ عَنْ أَحَدٍ بَعْدَكَ " .
Translation
Rapporté par Al-Bara’ ibn Azib : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « La première chose que nous faisons le jour de l’Aïd al-Adha est de prier, puis nous rentrons chez nous pour sacrifier nos animaux. Celui qui fait cela suit notre tradition. Mais celui qui sacrifie avant la prière, c’est juste pour la viande de sa famille, il n’y a rien d’un sacrifice religieux là-dedans. » C’est Abu Burda ibn Niyar qui avait sacrifié avant la prière. Il a dit : « J’ai un petit agneau de moins d’un an, mais il est meilleur que celui d’un an. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Sacrifie-le, mais cela ne suffira pour personne après toi. »
