Sahih Muslim 5070
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، أَنَّ خَالَهُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ بْنَ نِيَارٍ، ذَبَحَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَذْبَحَ النَّبِيُّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ هَذَا يَوْمٌ اللَّحْمُ فِيهِ مَكْرُوهٌ وَإِنِّي عَجَّلْتُ نَسِيكَتِي لأُطْعِمَ أَهْلِي وَجِيرَانِي وَأَهْلَ دَارِي . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَعِدْ نُسُكًا " . فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ عِنْدِي عَنَاقَ لَبَنٍ هِيَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ شَاتَىْ لَحْمٍ . فَقَالَ " هِيَ خَيْرُ نَسِيكَتَيْكَ وَلاَ تَجْزِي جَذَعَةٌ عَنْ أَحَدٍ بَعْدَكَ " .
Translation
Rapporté par Al-Bara’ ibn Azib : Son oncle maternel, Abu Burda ibn Niyar, a sacrifié son animal avant que le Prophète ﷺ ne fasse le sien. Il a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah, c’est le jour de la viande, et il n’est pas souhaitable de faire attendre ma famille, alors j’ai sacrifié tôt pour nourrir ma famille, mes voisins et mes proches. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ lui a dit : « Refais ton sacrifice. » Il a répondu : « Ô Messager d’Allah, je n’ai qu’une petite chèvre laitière de moins d’un an, mais elle est meilleure que deux chèvres maigres. » Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Elle est meilleure que deux animaux de sacrifice pour toi, mais après toi, le sacrifice d’une chèvre de moins de six mois ne sera pas accepté pour personne. »
