Sahih Muslim 5069
وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ ضَحَّى خَالِي أَبُو بُرْدَةَ قَبْلَ الصَّلاَةِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " تِلْكَ شَاةُ لَحْمٍ " . فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ عِنْدِي جَذَعَةً مِنَ الْمَعْزِ فَقَالَ " ضَحِّ بِهَا وَلاَ تَصْلُحُ لِغَيْرِكَ " . ثُمَّ قَالَ " مَنْ ضَحَّى قَبْلَ الصَّلاَةِ فَإِنَّمَا ذَبَحَ لِنَفْسِهِ وَمَنْ ذَبَحَ بَعْدَ الصَّلاَةِ فَقَدْ تَمَّ نُسُكُهُ وَأَصَابَ سُنَّةَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ " .
Translation
Rapporté par Al-Bara’ : Mon oncle maternel, Abu Burda, a sacrifié son animal avant la prière de l’Aïd. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ lui a dit : « C’est une chèvre pour la viande, pas un sacrifice pour le jour de l’Aïd. » Il a répondu : « J’ai un agneau de six mois. » Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Offre-le en sacrifice, mais cela ne sera valable que pour toi. » Puis il a ajouté : « Celui qui sacrifie avant la prière ne fait cela que pour lui-même, et celui qui sacrifie après la prière a accompli le sacrifice comme le font les musulmans. »
