Sahih Muslim 4972
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أُرْسِلُ الْكِلاَبَ الْمُعَلَّمَةَ فَيُمْسِكْنَ عَلَىَّ وَأَذْكُرُ اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ " إِذَا أَرْسَلْتَ كَلْبَكَ الْمُعَلَّمَ وَذَكَرْتَ اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ فَكُلْ " . قُلْتُ وَإِنْ قَتَلْنَ قَالَ " وَإِنْ قَتَلْنَ مَا لَمْ يَشْرَكْهَا كَلْبٌ لَيْسَ مَعَهَا " . قُلْتُ لَهُ فَإِنِّي أَرْمِي بِالْمِعْرَاضِ الصَّيْدَ فَأُصِيبُ فَقَالَ " إِذَا رَمَيْتَ بِالْمِعْرَاضِ فَخَزَقَ فَكُلْهُ وَإِنْ أَصَابَهُ بِعَرْضِهِ فَلاَ تَأْكُلْهُ " .
Translation
ہمام بن حارث نے حضرت عدی بن حاتم رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : میں نے عرض کی : اللہ کےرسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! میں سدھائے ہوئے کتوں کو چھوڑتا ہوں ۔ وہ میرے لئے شکار کو قابو کرلیتے ہیں ۔ اور میں اس پر اللہ کا نام بھی لیتا ہوں ۔ ( بسم اللہ پڑھتا ہوں ) آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا؛ " جب تم اپنا سدھایا ہوا کتا چھوڑ دو اور اس پر بسم اللہ پڑھ لو تو پھر اس کو کھالو ۔ " میں نے کہا : خواہ وہ کتے شکار کو مار ڈالیں؟آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : خواہ وہ شکار کو مارڈالیں ، جب تک کوئی اور کتا ، جو ان کے ساتھ نہیں ( بھیجا گیا ) ، اُن کے ساتھ شریک نہ ہوجائے ۔ " میں نے عرض کی : میں شکار کو موٹی لکڑی کے نوکدار بغیر پروں کے تیر کا نشان بناتا ہوں اور اسے مار لیتا ہوں ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " جب تم بغیر پروں والا تیر مارو اور وہ اس کے جسم کو چھید دے ( خون نکل جائے ) تو اس کو کھالو اور اگر وہ اسے چوڑائی کی طرف سے نشانہ بنائے اور مارڈ الے تو مت کھاؤ ۔
