Sunan Abu Dawud 1023
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ - عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، أَنَّ سُوَيْدَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ حُدَيْجٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلَّى يَوْمًا فَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ بَقِيَتْ مِنَ الصَّلاَةِ رَكْعَةٌ فَأَدْرَكَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ نَسِيتَ مِنَ الصَّلاَةِ رَكْعَةً فَرَجَعَ فَدَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَأَمَرَ بِلاَلاً فَأَقَامَ الصَّلاَةَ فَصَلَّى لِلنَّاسِ رَكْعَةً فَأَخْبَرْتُ بِذَلِكَ النَّاسَ . فَقَالُوا لِي أَتَعْرِفُ الرَّجُلَ قُلْتُ لاَ إِلاَّ أَنْ أَرَاهُ فَمَرَّ بِي فَقُلْتُ هَذَا هُوَ . فَقَالُوا هَذَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ .
Translation
معاویہ بن حدیج رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک دن نماز پڑھائی تو سلام پھیر دیا حالانکہ ایک رکعت نماز باقی رہ گئی تھی، ایک شخص نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آ کر عرض کیا: آپ نماز میں ایک رکعت بھول گئے ہیں، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم لوٹے، مسجد کے اندر آئے اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو حکم دیا تو انہوں نے نماز کی اقامت کہی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لوگوں کو ایک رکعت پڑھائی، میں نے لوگوں کو اس کی خبر دی تو لوگوں نے مجھ سے پوچھا: کیا تم اس شخص کو جانتے ہو؟ میں نے کہا: نہیں، البتہ اگر میں دیکھوں ( تو پہچان لوں گا ) ، پھر وہی شخص میرے سامنے سے گزرا تو میں نے کہا: یہی وہ شخص تھا، لوگوں نے کہا: یہ طلحہ بن عبیداللہ ہیں۔
