Intention for Umrah
اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ عُمْرَةً
Allahumma labbayka 'Umrah
O Allah, here I am for Umrah.
Sahih Muslim 1218
Umrah has four rites performed in order. Follow this sequence from the miqat to the completion of Halq or Taqsir.
Perform ghusl, wear the two white garments (men) or ordinary modest dress (women), pray two rak'ahs, then make the intention and begin the Talbiyah.
Enter the Masjid with your right foot, begin at the Black Stone with takbir, and complete seven circuits anticlockwise. Men perform ramal in the first three circuits when able.
After Tawaf, pray two rak'ahs behind Maqam Ibrahim and drink Zamzam.
Walk seven laps starting at Safa and ending at Marwah, reciting the verse of Safa and Marwah as you approach Safa the first time.
Men shave the head entirely or shorten the hair evenly; women cut a fingertip's length from the ends. With this, Umrah is complete and Ihram ends.
اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ عُمْرَةً
Allahumma labbayka 'Umrah
O Allah, here I am for Umrah.
Sahih Muslim 1218
إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ
Inna al-Safa wa al-Marwata min sha'a'ir Allah
Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah.
Qur'an 2:158
No. In Umrah the order is fixed: Ihram, then Tawaf, then Sa'i, then Halq or Taqsir.
Build on the lesser number you are certain of and complete the remaining circuits.
