Sahih Muslim 5588
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ عُثْمَانُ حَدَّثَنَا وَقَالَ، إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ وُلِدَ لِرَجُلٍ مِنَّا غُلاَمٌ فَسَمَّاهُ مُحَمَّدًا فَقَالَ لَهُ قَوْمُهُ لاَ نَدَعُكَ تُسَمِّي بِاسْمِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . فَانْطَلَقَ بِابْنِهِ حَامِلَهُ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ فَأَتَى بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وُلِدَ لِي غُلاَمٌ فَسَمَّيْتُهُ مُحَمَّدًا فَقَالَ لِي قَوْمِي لاَ نَدَعُكَ تُسَمِّي بِاسْمِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " تَسَمَّوْا بِاسْمِي وَلاَ تَكْتَنُوا بِكُنْيَتِي فَإِنَّمَا أَنَا قَاسِمٌ أَقْسِمُ بَيْنَكُمْ " .
Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Utsman bin Abu Syaibah] dan [Ishaq bin Ibrahim], ['Utsman] berkata; 'Telah menceritakan kepada kami.' Dan [Ishaq] bekata; 'Telah mengabarkan kepada kami' [Jarir] dari [Manshur] dari [Salim bin Abu Al Ja'di] dari [Jabir bin Abdullah] dia berkata; "(Isteri) seseorang di antara kami melahirkan anak laki-laki, lalu diberi nama 'Muhammad'." Maka famili orang itu berkata; 'Kami tidak membolehkan Anda menamai anakmu dengan nama Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam.' Maka dia menemui Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam sambil menggendong anaknya seraya berkata: 'Ya Rasulullah! Anakku lahir seorang laki-laki, lalu kuberi nama 'Muhammad'. Familiku mengatakan tidak boleh memberi nama dengan nama Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam. Bagaimana itu? ' Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: 'Namailah dengan namaku, tetapi jangan menggelari dengan gelarku. Aku bergelar 'Qasim' (yang membagi). Karena aku membagi-bagikan rahmat Allah di antara kamu sekalian
