Sahih Muslim 5828
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَاللَّفْظُ، لَهُ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا لُبَابَةَ، كَلَّمَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ لِيَفْتَحَ لَهُ بَابًا فِي دَارِهِ يَسْتَقْرِبُ بِهِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَوَجَدَ الْغِلْمَةُ جِلْدَ جَانٍّ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ الْتَمِسُوهُ فَاقْتُلُوهُ . فَقَالَ أَبُو لُبَابَةَ لاَ تَقْتُلُوهُ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ الْجِنَّانِ الَّتِي فِي الْبُيُوتِ .
Terjemahan
Dan telah menceritakan kepadaku [Muhammad bin Rumh]; Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Al Laits]; Demikian juga diriwayatkan dari jalur lainnya, Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Qutaibah bin Sa'id] dan lafazh ini miliknya; Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Laits] dari [Nafi'] bahwa [Abu Lubabah] berkata kepada Ibnu Umar agar dia membuka pintu rumah miliknya supaya lebih dekat pergi ke Masjid. Namun tiba-tiba beberapa anak kecil melihat kulit ular. Maka Abdullah berkata; "Cari dan ikut ia! Lalu bunuhlah oleh kalian!" Abu Lubabah berkata; 'Jangan kalian bunuh, karena Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam telah melarang membunuh ular-ular yang berada di rumah
