حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ بَيَانٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ، بْنِ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قُلْتُ إِنَّا قَوْمٌ نَصِيدُ بِهَذِهِ الْكِلاَبِ فَقَالَ " إِذَا أَرْسَلْتَ كِلاَبَكَ الْمُعَلَّمَةَ وَذَكَرْتَ اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا فَكُلْ مِمَّا أَمْسَكْنَ عَلَيْكَ وَإِنْ قَتَلْنَ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ الْكَلْبُ فَإِنْ أَكَلَ فَلاَ تَأْكُلْ فَإِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يَكُونَ إِنَّمَا أَمْسَكَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ وَإِنْ خَالَطَهَا كِلاَبٌ مِنْ غَيْرِهَا فَلاَ تَأْكُلْ " .
Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakar bin Abu Syaibah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Fudlail] dari [Bayan] dari [Asy Sya'bi] dari ['Adi bin Hatim] dia berkata, "Saya pernah bertanya kepada Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, "Saya katakan, 'Kami ini suatu kaum yang biasa hidup berburu dengan menggunakan anjing-anjing ini. Bagaimana itu? ' Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam menjawab: "Apabila kamu melepas anjingmu yang terlatih dengan menyebut nama Allah, maka makanlah hasilnya sekalipun buruan itu mati dalam tangkapannya. Kecuali jika anjing-anjing itu memakan tangkapannya maka janganlah kamu makan pula, karena aku khawatir dia (anjing-anjing tersebut) menangkap buruan itu untuknya sendiri. Atau, jika ada anjing lain yang menyertainya menangkap (buruan tersebut), maka jangan kamu makan
