Sahih Muslim 4964
حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَيَّارٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ سَيَّارٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي غَزَاةٍ فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ ذَهَبْنَا لِنَدْخُلَ فَقَالَ " أَمْهِلُوا حَتَّى نَدْخُلَ لَيْلاً - أَىْ عِشَاءً - كَىْ تَمْتَشِطَ الشَّعِثَةُ وَتَسْتَحِدَّ الْمُغِيبَةُ " .
Terjemahan
Telah menceritakan kepadaku [Isma'il bin Salim] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Husyaim] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Sayyar]. (dalam jalur lain disebutkan) Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin Yahya] dan ini adalah lafadz dia, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Husyaim] dari [Yasar] dari [As Sya'bi] dari [Jabir bin Abdullah] dia berkata, "Kami pernah berperang bersama Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, setelah kami tiba di Madinah, kami bermaksud hendak segera pulang ke rumah kami masing-masing. Namun beliau bersabda: "Tunggulah dahulu hingga hari agak senja, sisirlah dahulu rambut kalian yang kusut, berilah kesempatan kepada keluarga kalian untuk bersiap-siap dan berhias (untuk menyambut kedatangan kalian)
