Sahih Muslim 4717
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ بُرَيْدِ، بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَا وَرَجُلاَنِ مِنْ بَنِي عَمِّي فَقَالَ أَحَدُ الرَّجُلَيْنِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَمِّرْنَا عَلَى بَعْضِ مَا وَلاَّكَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ . وَقَالَ الآخَرُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ " إِنَّا وَاللَّهِ لاَ نُوَلِّي عَلَى هَذَا الْعَمَلِ أَحَدًا سَأَلَهُ وَلاَ أَحَدًا حَرَصَ عَلَيْهِ " .
Terjemahan
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakar bin Abi Syaibah] dan [Muhammad bin Ala'] dia berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Usamah] dari [Buraid bin Abdullah] dari [Abu Burdah] dari [Abu Musa] dia berkata, "Saya dan dua orang anak pamanku menemui Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, salah seorang dari keduanya lalu berkata, "Wahai Rasulullah, angkatlah kami sebagai pemimpin atas sebagian wilayah yang telah diberikan Allah Azza Wa Jalla kepadamu." Dan seorang lagi mengucapkan perkataan serupa, maka beliau bersabda: "Demi Allah, sesungguhnya kami tidak akan memberikan jabatan bagi orang yang meminta dan yang rakus terhadapnya
