Sahih Muslim 4163
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنِ قَعْنَبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، قَالَ حَمَلْتُ عَلَى فَرَسٍ عَتِيقٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَأَضَاعَهُ صَاحِبُهُ فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ بَائِعُهُ بِرُخْصٍ فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ " لاَ تَبْتَعْهُ وَلاَ تَعُدْ فِي صَدَقَتِكَ فَإِنَّ الْعَائِدَ فِي صَدَقَتِهِ كَالْكَلْبِ يَعُودُ فِي قَيْئِهِ " .
Terjemahan
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Maslamah bin Qa'nab] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Malik bin Anas] dari [Zaid bin Aslam] dari [Ayahnya] bahwa [Umar bin Khattab] berkata, "Saya pernah mensedekahkan seekor kuda yang sangat bagus kepada seorang pejuang untuk perang di jalan Allah, akan tetapi pemiliknya menyia-nyiakannya dan saya mengira bahwa dia akan menjualnya dengan harga murah, maka saya menanyakan hal itu kepada Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau lantas bersabda: "Janganlah kamu membelinya dan jangan kamu ambil kembali sedekahmu, sesungguhnya orang yang mengambil kembali sedekahnya sama seperti anjing yang menjilat kembali muntahannya." Dan telah menceritakan kepadaku [Zuhair bi Harb] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdurrahman] -yaitu Ibnu Mahdi- dari [Malik bin Anas] dengan sanad ini, dan dia menambahkan, "Janganlah kamu membelinya lagi, walaupun kamu memberikan uang dirham
