حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ، الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ { عَنْ أَبِيهِ، } أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حِينَ تَزَوَّجَ أَمَّ سَلَمَةَ وَأَصْبَحَتْ عِنْدَهُ قَالَ لَهَا " لَيْسَ بِكِ عَلَى أَهْلِكِ هَوَانٌ إِنْ شِئْتِ سَبَّعْتُ عِنْدَكِ وَإِنْ شِئْتِ ثَلَّثْتُ ثُمَّ دُرْتُ " . قَالَتْ ثَلِّثْ .
Terjemahan
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin Yahya] dia berkata; Saya membaca di hadapan [Malik] dari [Abdullah bin Abu Bakar] dari [Abdul Malik bin Abu Bakar bin Abdurrahman] bahwa ketika Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam menikahi Ummu Salamah, di pagi harinya beliau bersabda kepadanya: "Bukannya saya menghinakan keluargamu, jika kamu menghendaki, maka saya akan tinggal tujuh hari bersamamu, dan jika kamu menghendaki saya akan tinggal bersamamu selama tiga hari, kemudian saya gulirkan." Dia (Ummu Salamah) menjawab; "(Tinggalah) tiga hari
