وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ غَيْلاَنَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ الزِّمَّانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، رضى الله عنه أَنَّرَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم سُئِلَ عَنْ صَوْمِ الاِثْنَيْنِ فَقَالَ " فِيهِ وُلِدْتُ وَفِيهِ أُنْزِلَ عَلَىَّ " .

Dan telah menceritakan kepadaku [Zuhair bin Harb] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdurrahman bin Mahdi] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Mahdi bin Maimun] dari [Ghailan] dari [Abdullah bin Ma'bad Az Zimani] dari [Abu Qatadah Al Anshari] radliallahu 'anhu, bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pernah ditanya mengenai puasa pada hari Senin, maka beliau pun menjawab: "Di hari itulah saya dilahirkan, dan pada hari itu pula, wahyu diturunkan atasku
