Sahih Muslim 1205
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَعَثَنِي لِحَاجَةٍ ثُمَّ أَدْرَكْتُهُ وَهُوَ يَسِيرُ - قَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ يُصَلِّي - فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَأَشَارَ إِلَىَّ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ دَعَانِي فَقَالَ " إِنَّكَ سَلَّمْتَ آنِفًا وَأَنَا أُصَلِّي " . وَهُوَ مُوَجِّهٌ حِينَئِذٍ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ .
Terjemahan
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Qutaibah bin Sa'id] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Laits] --Lewat jalur periwayatan lain-- dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Rumh] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [al-Laits] dari [Abu az-Zubair] dari [Jabir] bahwasanya dia berkata, "Sesungguhnya Rasulullah mengutusku untuk suatu urusan. (Setelah aku kembali), aku -dalam keadaan berjalan- mendapati beliau -Qutaibah berkata, 'sedang shalat'-. Lalu aku memberi salam kepada beliau, maka beliau hanya memberi isyarat kepadaku. Setelah selesai shalat, beliau memanggilku, seraya bersabda, 'Tadi engkau memberi salam kepadaku, padahal aku sedang shalat.' Ketika itu beliau menghadap ke timur
