Sahih Muslim 1018
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي عَوْنٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ عُمَرُ لِسَعْدٍ قَدْ شَكَوْكَ فِي كُلِّ شَىْءٍ حَتَّى فِي الصَّلاَةِ . قَالَ أَمَّا أَنَا فَأَمُدُّ فِي الأُولَيَيْنِ وَأَحْذِفُ فِي الأُخْرَيَيْنِ وَمَا آلُو مَا اقْتَدَيْتُ بِهِ مِنْ صَلاَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . فَقَالَ ذَاكَ الظَّنُّ بِكَ . أَوْ ذَاكَ ظَنِّي بِكَ .
Translation
Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin al-Mutsanna] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdurrahman bin Mahdi] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] dari [Abu 'Aun] dia berkata, Saya mendengar [Jabir bin Samurah] berkata, "Umar berkata kepada [Sa'ad], 'Penduduk Kufah telah mengadukan segala tindakanmu hingga masalah shalat.' Dia menjawab, 'Adapun saya, maka saya memanjangkan dua rakaat pertama dan memendekkan dua rakaat lainnya. Dan aku tidak menyingkiri sesuatu yang telah saya ikuti dari (cara) shalat Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam.' Maka Umar berkata, 'Itu semuanya hanyalah prasangka terhadapmu saja -atau itu hanya prasangkaku terhadapmu saja'." Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Kuraib] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Bisyr] dari [Mis'ar] dari [Abdul Malik] dan [Abu 'Aun] dari [Jabir bin Samurah] semakna dengan hadits mereka.
