Sahih al-Bukhari 1042
حَدَّثَنَا أَصْبَغُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُخْبِرُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم. " إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لاَ يَخْسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَلاَ لِحَيَاتِهِ، وَلَكِنَّهُمَا آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهَا فَصَلُّوا ".

Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ashbagh] berkata, telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Ibnu Wahb] berkata, telah mengabarkan kepadaku ['Amru] dari ['Abdurrahman bin Al Qasim] menceritakan dari [Bapaknya] dari [Ibnu 'Umar], bahwa dia mengabarkan dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau bersabda: "Sesungguhnya matahari dan bulan tidak akan mengalami gerhana disebabkan mati atau hidupnya seseorang, akan tetapi keduanya adalah dua tanda dari tanda-tanda kebesaran Allah.
