Invoking Allah for Rain (Istisqaa)
Sahih al-Bukhari 1032
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ـ هُوَ ابْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ـ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ إِذَا رَأَى الْمَطَرَ قَالَ " صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا ". تَابَعَهُ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ. وَرَوَاهُ الأَوْزَاعِيُّ وَعُقَيْلٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ.
Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad] -yaitu Ibnu Muqatil Abu Al Hasan Al Marwazi- berkata, telah mengabarkan kepada kami ['Abdullah] berkata, telah mengabarkan kepada kami ['Ubaidullah] dari [Nafi'] dari [Al Qasim bin Muhammad] dari ['Aisyah], bahwa jika Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melihat hujan, maka beliau berdoa: 'ALLAHUMMA SHAYYIBAA NAAFI'AA (Ya Allah, jadikanlah hujan ini bermanfaat) '." Hadits ini juga dikuatkan oleh [Al Qasim bin Yahya] dari ['Ubaidullah], dan diriwayatkan pula oleh [Al Auza'i] dan ['Uqail] dari [Nafi]
