Entering the mosque
اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
Allahumma-ftah li abwaba rahmatik
O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.

Before the prayer
Perform ghusl, clean the teeth with a miswak, clip the nails, wear the best available clothing and apply fragrance (men).
Walk to the mosque early. For every step there is reward, and those who come earliest are recorded first by the angels.
During the khutbah and prayer
Sit quietly and listen. Do not fidget, speak, or handle a phone during the sermon.
Pray the two rak'ahs of Jumu'ah behind the imam, and follow with the sunnah prayers after.
Throughout the day
Read Surah al-Kahf, send abundant salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ, give charity, and reserve the last hour before Maghrib for concentrated dua.
