Sahih Muslim 4038 — Book 22, Hadith 77

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - يَعْنُونَ ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ - عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَ سُئِلَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنْ كَسْبِ الْحَجَّامِ، فَقَالَ احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَجَمَهُ أَبُو طَيْبَةَ فَأَمَرَ لَهُ بِصَاعَيْنِ مِنْ طَعَامٍ وَكَلَّمَ أَهْلَهُ فَوَضَعُوا عَنْهُ مِنْ خَرَاجِهِ وَقَالَ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ مَا تَدَاوَيْتُمْ بِهِ الْحِجَامَةُ أَوْ هُوَ مِنْ أَمْثَلِ دَوَائِكُمْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Traduction

Rapporté par Humaid : On a demandé à Anas b. Malik au sujet du revenu du praticien de la saignée. Il a répondu : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ s’est fait faire une saignée. Celui qui l’a saigné était Abu Taiba, et le Prophète lui a ordonné de lui donner deux sa’ de céréales. Il a parlé avec les membres de sa famille et ils ont allégé la charge du Kharaj (impôt) pour lui, c’est-à-dire qu’ils ont réduit le montant de leur propre initiative. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Le meilleur traitement que vous puissiez avoir, c’est la saignée, ou c’est le meilleur de vos traitements. »
