وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي، عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كَانَ فِي بَرِيرَةَ ثَلاَثُ سُنَنٍ خُيِّرَتْ عَلَى زَوْجِهَا حِينَ عَتَقَتْ وَأُهْدِيَ لَهَا لَحْمٌ فَدَخَلَ عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَالْبُرْمَةُ عَلَى النَّارِ فَدَعَا بِطَعَامٍ فَأُتِيَ بِخُبْزٍ وَأُدُمٍ مِنْ أُدُمِ الْبَيْتِ فَقَالَ " أَلَمْ أَرَ بُرْمَةً عَلَى النَّارِ فِيهَا لَحْمٌ " . فَقَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ لَحْمٌ تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ فَكَرِهْنَا أَنْ نُطْعِمَكَ مِنْهُ . فَقَالَ " هُوَ عَلَيْهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَهُوَ مِنْهَا لَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ " . وَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِيهَا " إِنَّمَا الْوَلاَءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ " .
Traduction
Rapporté par Aïcha رضي الله عنها, l’épouse du Messager d’Allah ﷺ : Trois pratiques (sunan) ont été connues à propos de Barira. Elle a eu le choix concernant son mari lorsqu’elle a été affranchie. Elle a reçu de la viande en aumône. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ me rendit visite alors qu’un pot en terre cuite avec de la viande cuisait sur le feu. Il demanda à manger et on lui donna du pain avec de la viande ordinaire (habituellement cuisinée à la maison). Il dit alors : « Ne vois-je pas un pot en terre cuite sur le feu avec de la viande dedans ? » Ils répondirent : « Oui, Messager d’Allah, il y a de la viande dedans qui a été donnée en aumône à Barira. Nous n’avons pas jugé bon de te la donner à manger. » Il dit : « C’est une aumône pour elle, mais un cadeau pour nous. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a aussi dit : « Le droit d’héritage revient à celui qui affranchit. »
