Sahih Muslim 5960
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، قَالَ هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا وَقَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَثَلِي وَمَثَلُ الأَنْبِيَاءِ مِنْ قَبْلِي كَمَثَلِ رَجُلٍ ابْتَنَى بُيُوتًا فَأَحْسَنَهَا وَأَجْمَلَهَا وَأَكْمَلَهَا إِلاَّ مَوْضِعَ لَبِنَةٍ مِنْ زَاوِيَةٍ مِنْ زَوَايَاهَا فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَطُوفُونَ وَيُعْجِبُهُمُ الْبُنْيَانُ فَيَقُولُونَ أَلاَّ وَضَعْتَ هَا هُنَا لَبِنَةً فَيَتِمَّ بُنْيَانُكَ " . فَقَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ صلى الله عليه وسلم " فَكُنْتُ أَنَا اللَّبِنَةَ " .
Translation
Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Rafi'] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdur Razaq] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ma'mar] dari [Hammam bin Munabbih] dia berkata; 'Inilah yang telah di ceritakan oleh [Abu Hurairah] kepada kami dari Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, -kemudian dia menyebutkan beberapa Hadits yang di antaranya-; dan Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam telah bersabda: "Perumpamaanku dengan Nabi-nabi sebelumku adalah seperti orang membangun rumah, lalu disempurnakannya dan dibaguskannya buatannya, kecuali sebuah sudut (belum terpasang) dengan sebuah bata. Maka masuklah orang banyak ke rumah itu. Mereka mulai mengelilinginya dan kagum akan keindahannya. Lalu mereka bertanya; 'Kenapa batu di tempat ini belum dipasang sehingga bangunanmu menjadi sempurna? Tuan rumah menjawab; 'Yang akan memasangnya ialah Muhammad Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam." Maka akulah yang meletakkan atau memasang bata itu
