حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، بْنِ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ رضى الله عنها هَلْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَصُومُ شَهْرًا مَعْلُومًا سِوَى رَمَضَانَ قَالَتْ وَاللَّهِ إِنْ صَامَ شَهْرًا مَعْلُومًا سِوَى رَمَضَانَ حَتَّى مَضَى لِوَجْهِهِ وَلاَ أَفْطَرَهُ حَتَّى يُصِيبَ مِنْهُ .
Terjemahan
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin Yahya] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Yazid bin Zurai'] dari [Sa'id Al Jurairi] dari [Abdullah bin Syaqiq] ia berkata, saya bertanya kepada [Aisyah], "Apakah Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pernah berpuasa selama satu bulan penuh secara terang-terangan selain di bulan Ramadlan?" Aisyah menjawab, "Demi Allah, beliau belum pernah berpuasa sebulan penuh secara terang-terangan selain bulan Ramadlan hingga diangkatnya beliau ke Ar Rafi' Al A'la (kedudukan yang tinggi), dan beliau juga belum pernah berbuka terus menerus (maksudnya tidak puasa) sebulan penuh diluar Ramadhan, hingga ada diantaranya yang beliau isi dengan puasa
