وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، - رضى الله عنهما - أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَاصَلَ فِي رَمَضَانَ فَوَاصَلَ النَّاسُ فَنَهَاهُمْ . قِيلَ لَهُ أَنْتَ تُوَاصِلُ قَالَ " إِنِّي لَسْتُ مِثْلَكُمْ إِنِّي أُطْعَمُ وَأُسْقَى " .
Terjemahan
Telah menceritakannya kepada kami [Abu Bakar bin Abu Syaibah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Numair] -dalam jalur lain- Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Numair] telah menceritakan kepada kami [bapakku] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ubaidullah] dari [Nafi'] dari [Ibnu Umar] radliallahu 'anhuma, bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melakukan puasa Wishal di bulan Ramadlan, sehingga orang-orang pun ikut melakukannya. Mengetahui hal itu, maka beliau melarang mereka. Akhirnya mereka bertanya, "Bukankah Anda sendiri melakukan puasa wishal?" beliau bersabda: "Sesungguhnya saya, tidaklah sebagaimana kalian, karena saya diberi makan dan minum (oleh Rabb-ku)." Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdul Warits bin Abdush Shamad] telah menceritakan kepadaku [bapakku] dari [kakekku] dari [Ayyub] dari [Nafi'] dari [Ibnu Umar] radliallahu 'anhu, dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, dengan hadits semisalnya, namun ia tidak mengatakan; "Di bulan Ramadlan
