حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِجَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ أَكُنْتَ تُجَالِسُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ نَعَمْ كَثِيرًا كَانَ لاَ يَقُومُ مِنْ مُصَلاَّهُ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي فِيهِ الصُّبْحَ أَوِ الْغَدَاةَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَإِذَا طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ قَامَ وَكَانُوا يَتَحَدَّثُونَ فَيَأْخُذُونَ فِي أَمْرِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَيَضْحَكُونَ وَيَتَبَسَّمُ .
Terjemahan
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ahmad bin Abdullah bin Yunus], telah menceritakan kepada kami [Zuhair] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Simak] (dan diriwayatkan dari jalur lain) telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin Yahya] dan lafadz ada padanya, dia berkata; telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Abu Khaitsamah] dari [Simak bin Harb] katanya; aku berkata kepada [Jabir bin Samurah]; "Mungkin anda pernah duduk-duduk bersama Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam? Dia menjawab; "Ya, dan itu banyak kesempatan, Beliau shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam tidak pernah beranjak dari tempat shalatnya ketika subuh atau pagi hari hingga matahari terbit, jika matahari terbit, maka beliau beranjak pergi. Para sahabat seringkali bercerita-cerita dan berkisah-kisah semasa jahiliyahnya, lantas mereka pun tertawa, namun beliau hanya tersenyum
