حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْمُغِيرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ يَقُولُ إِنْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَيَقُومُ لِيُصَلِّيَ حَتَّى تَرِمُ قَدَمَاهُ أَوْ سَاقَاهُ، فَيُقَالُ لَهُ فَيَقُولُ " أَفَلاَ أَكُونُ عَبْدًا شَكُورًا ".

Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Nu'aim] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Mis'ar] dari [Ziyad] berkata; aku mendengar [Al Mughirah radliallahu 'anhu] berkata; "Ketika Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bangun untuk mendirikan shalat (malam) hingga tampak bengkak pada kaki atau betis, Beliau dimintai keterangan tentangnya.
