Invoking Allah for Rain (Istisqaa)
Sahih al-Bukhari 1024
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، قَالَ خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَسْتَسْقِي فَتَوَجَّهَ إِلَى الْقِبْلَةِ يَدْعُو، وَحَوَّلَ رِدَاءَهُ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ جَهَرَ فِيهِمَا بِالْقِرَاءَةِ.
Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Nu'aim] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Abu Dzi'b] dari [Az Zuhri] dari ['Abbad bin Tamim] dari [Pamannya] berkata, "Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pernah keluar untuk melaksanakan shalat istisqa', beliau lalu berdoa dengan menghadap ke arah kiblat sambil membalikkan kain selendangnya. Kemudian beliau melaksanakan shalat dua rakaat dengan mengeraskan bacaannya pada kedua rakaat itu
