Sunan Abu Dawud 1069
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، - وَكَانَ قَائِدَ أَبِيهِ بَعْدَ مَا ذَهَبَ بَصَرُهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا سَمِعَ النِّدَاءَ، يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ تَرَحَّمَ لأَسْعَدَ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ . فَقُلْتُ لَهُ إِذَا سَمِعْتَ النِّدَاءَ، تَرَحَّمْتَ لأَسْعَدَ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ لأَنَّهُ أَوَّلُ مَنْ جَمَّعَ بِنَا فِي هَزْمِ النَّبِيتِ مِنْ حَرَّةِ بَنِي بَيَاضَةَ فِي نَقِيعٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ نَقِيعُ الْخَضِمَاتِ . قُلْتُ كَمْ أَنْتُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ قَالَ أَرْبَعُونَ .
Terjemahan
telah menceritakan kepada kami [Qutaibah bin Sa'id] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Idris] dari [Muhammad bin Ishaq] dari [Muhammad bin Abu Umamah bin Sahl] dari [ayahnya] dari [Abdurrahman bin Ka'b bin Malik] -dia adalah seorang yang selalu menuntun ayahnya setelah ayahnya buta- dari [ayahnya yaitu Ka'ab bin Malik] bahwa apabila dia mendengar adzan pada hari jum'at, dia memohonkan rahmat untuk As'ad bin Zurarah. Lantas aku bertanya kepadanya; "Mengapa anda memohonkan rahmat untk as'ad bin Zurarah setiap kali mendengar adzan Jum'at?" jawabnya; Karena dia adalah orang yang pertama kali sebagai pelopor pelaksanaan shalat Jum'at di tengah-tengah kami di Hazmin-nabit, yang terletak di Bani Bayadhah di Baqi', yaitu Naqi'ul Khadhamat."
