Sahih Muslim 5658
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أُنَاسٌ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ فَقَالُوا السَّامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ . قَالَ " وَعَلَيْكُمْ " . قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ قُلْتُ بَلْ عَلَيْكُمُ السَّامُ وَالذَّامُ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يَا عَائِشَةُ لاَ تَكُونِي فَاحِشَةً " . فَقَالَتْ مَا سَمِعْتَ مَا قَالُوا فَقَالَ " أَوَلَيْسَ قَدْ رَدَدْتُ عَلَيْهِمُ الَّذِي قَالُوا قُلْتُ وَعَلَيْكُمْ " .
Translation
Rapporté par Aïcha (la mère des croyants) رضي الله عنها : Des Juifs sont venus voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ et ont dit : « Abu’l-Qasim (le surnom du Prophète), as-Sam-u-‘Alaikum. » Le Prophète ﷺ répondit : « Wa ‘Alaikum. » Aïcha dit : « Mais que la mort soit sur vous et l’humiliation aussi. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ lui dit : « Aïcha, ne sois pas dure dans tes paroles. » Elle dit : « N’as-tu pas entendu ce qu’ils ont dit ? » Il répondit : « N’ai-je pas répondu ? Je leur ai dit : Wa ‘Alaikum (que cela soit sur vous). »
