Sahih Muslim 4782
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَائِلٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَأَلَ سَلَمَةُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْجُعْفِيُّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ قَامَتْ عَلَيْنَا أُمَرَاءُ يَسْأَلُونَا حَقَّهُمْ وَيَمْنَعُونَا حَقَّنَا فَمَا تَأْمُرُنَا فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ ثُمَّ سَأَلَهُ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ ثُمَّ سَأَلَهُ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ أَوْ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ فَجَذَبَهُ الأَشْعَثُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ وَقَالَ " اسْمَعُوا وَأَطِيعُوا فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَا حُمِّلُوا وَعَلَيْكُمْ مَا حُمِّلْتُمْ " .
Traduction
Rapporté par Alqama b. Wai'l al-Hadrami, qui a appris la tradition de son père : Ce dernier a dit : Salama b. Yazid al-Ju’afi a demandé au Messager d’Allah ﷺ : « Ô Prophète d’Allah, que penses-tu si nous avons des dirigeants qui exigent de nous que nous accomplissions nos devoirs envers eux, mais qui, eux, ne remplissent pas leurs obligations envers nous ? Que nous ordonnes-tu de faire ? » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ n’a pas répondu. Salama a reposé la question, mais il n’a toujours pas répondu. Il a insisté une deuxième ou une troisième fois, alors Ash’ath b. Qais l’a tiré à l’écart et lui a dit : « Écoutez-les et obéissez-leur, car leur charge pèsera sur eux, et la vôtre sur vous. »
