Sahih Muslim 4743
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي، خَالِدٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ عَمِيرَةَ الْكِنْدِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مَنِ اسْتَعْمَلْنَاهُ مِنْكُمْ عَلَى عَمَلٍ فَكَتَمَنَا مِخْيَطًا فَمَا فَوْقَهُ كَانَ غُلُولاً يَأْتِي بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " . قَالَ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ أَسْوَدُ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ اقْبَلْ عَنِّي عَمَلَكَ قَالَ " وَمَا لَكَ " . قَالَ سَمِعْتُكَ تَقُولُ كَذَا وَكَذَا . قَالَ " وَأَنَا أَقُولُهُ الآنَ مَنِ اسْتَعْمَلْنَاهُ مِنْكُمْ عَلَى عَمَلٍ فَلْيَجِئْ بِقَلِيلِهِ وَكَثِيرِهِ فَمَا أُوتِيَ مِنْهُ أَخَذَ وَمَا نُهِيَ عَنْهُ انْتَهَى " .
Traduction
Rapporté par ‘Adi ibn ‘Amira al-Kindi : J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire : « Quiconque parmi vous est nommé par nous à un poste d’autorité et cache ne serait-ce qu’une aiguille ou quelque chose de plus petit, cela sera considéré comme un détournement (de fonds publics) et il devra le présenter au Jour du Jugement. » Le narrateur raconte : Un homme à la peau foncée des Ansar s’est levé – je le vois encore – et a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah, reprends-moi ta charge. » Il a dit : « Qu’as-tu ? » L’homme a répondu : « Je t’ai entendu dire cela. » Il a dit : « Je le dis encore maintenant : Quiconque parmi vous est nommé à un poste d’autorité doit tout rapporter, grand ou petit, et il ne doit prendre que ce qui lui est donné, et s’abstenir de ce qui est interdit. »
