Sahih Muslim 4591 — Book 32, Hadith 72

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي، هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ بَيْنَا نَحْنُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ إِذْ خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ ‏"‏ انْطَلِقُوا إِلَى يَهُودَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَخَرَجْنَا مَعَهُ حَتَّى جِئْنَاهُمْ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَنَادَاهُمْ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ يَا مَعْشَرَ يَهُودَ أَسْلِمُوا تَسْلَمُوا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالُوا قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ ذَلِكَ أُرِيدُ أَسْلِمُوا تَسْلَمُوا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالُوا قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ ذَلِكَ أُرِيدُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ لَهُمُ الثَّالِثَةَ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ اعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا الأَرْضُ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَأَنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُجْلِيَكُمْ مِنْ هَذِهِ الأَرْضِ فَمَنْ وَجَدَ مِنْكُمْ بِمَالِهِ شَيْئًا فَلْيَبِعْهُ وَإِلاَّ فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ الأَرْضَ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Traduction

Rapporté par Abou Hourayra رضي الله عنه : Nous étions assis dans la mosquée lorsque le Messager d’Allah ﷺ vint vers nous et dit : « Allons voir les Juifs. » Nous sommes sortis avec lui jusqu’à ce que nous arrivions auprès d’eux. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ se leva et les interpella : « Ô assemblée de Juifs, acceptez l’islam et vous serez en sécurité. » Ils répondirent : « Abou al-Qasim, tu as transmis le message d’Allah. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dit : « C’est ce que je veux : que vous reconnaissiez que le message d’Allah vous a été transmis. Acceptez l’islam et vous serez en sécurité. » Ils répétèrent : « Abou al-Qasim, tu as transmis le message d’Allah. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ répéta la même chose une troisième fois, puis ajouta : « Sachez que la terre appartient à Allah et à Son messager, et je souhaite vous expulser de cette terre. Ceux d’entre vous qui possèdent des biens peuvent les vendre, sinon qu’ils sachent que la terre appartient à Allah et à Son messager, et qu’ils risquent de partir en laissant tout derrière eux. »
