حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ جَمِيعًا عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ دَخَلَ الأَشْعَثُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ يَتَغَدَّى فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ ادْنُ إِلَى الْغَدَاءِ . فَقَالَ أَوَلَيْسَ الْيَوْمُ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ قَالَ وَهَلْ تَدْرِي مَا يَوْمُ عَاشُورَاءَ قَالَ وَمَا هُوَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا هُوَ يَوْمٌ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَصُومُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ فَلَمَّا نَزَلَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ تُرِكَ . وَقَالَ أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ تَرَكَهُ .
Traduction
Rapporté par Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid : Lorsque al-Ash’ath ibn Qais entra chez Abdullah, il était en train de prendre son petit-déjeuner. Il (Abdullah ibn Umar) lui dit : « Abu Muhammad (al-Ash’ath), viens partager le repas. » Al-Ash’ath répondit : « N’est-ce pas aujourd’hui le jour de ‘Ashura ? » Abd al-Rahman demanda : « Sais-tu ce qu’est le jour de ‘Ashura ? » Il répondit : « Qu’est-ce donc ? » Abd al-Rahman expliqua : « C’est un jour où le Messager d’Allah ﷺ jeûnait avant que le jeûne du mois de Ramadan ne devienne obligatoire. Mais quand le jeûne de Ramadan est devenu obligatoire, le jeûne de ‘Ashura n’a plus été imposé. » Abu Kuraib ajouta : « Le Prophète ﷺ a alors abandonné ce jeûne. »
