حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ ضَرَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدِهِ عَلَى الأُخْرَى فَقَالَ " الشَّهْرُ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا " . ثُمَّ نَقَصَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ إِصْبَعًا .

Rapporté par Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a frappé une main contre l’autre et, en faisant un geste avec ses deux mains, a dit : « Le mois est ainsi, ainsi » (deux fois). Puis, la troisième fois, il a replié un de ses doigts
