حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، - رضى الله عنه - أَنَّهُ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم اعْتَزَلَ نِسَاءَهُ شَهْرًا فَخَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا فِي تِسْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ فَقُلْنَا إِنَّمَا الْيَوْمُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ . فَقَالَ " إِنَّمَا الشَّهْرُ " . وَصَفَّقَ بِيَدَيْهِ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَحَبَسَ إِصْبَعًا وَاحِدَةً فِي الآخِرَةِ .
Translation
Rapporté par Jabir (qu’Allah l’agrée) : Le Prophète ﷺ s’est séparé de ses épouses pendant un mois. (Ses épouses ont dit :) « Il est venu chez nous le vingt-neuvième jour, alors nous avons dit : ‘C’est le vingt-neuvième jour aujourd’hui.’ » Il répondit : « En ce qui concerne le mois… » (et pour expliquer, il a ouvert ses mains trois fois, mais a replié un doigt la dernière fois)
