Sahih Muslim 2424
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، فِيمَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ نَاسًا، مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ سَأَلُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَعْطَاهُمْ ثُمَّ سَأَلُوهُ فَأَعْطَاهُمْ حَتَّى إِذَا نَفِدَ مَا عِنْدَهُ قَالَ " مَا يَكُنْ عِنْدِي مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَلَنْ أَدَّخِرَهُ عَنْكُمْ وَمَنْ يَسْتَعْفِفْ يُعِفَّهُ اللَّهُ وَمَنْ يَسْتَغْنِ يُغْنِهِ اللَّهُ وَمَنْ يَصْبِرْ يُصَبِّرْهُ اللَّهُ وَمَا أُعْطِيَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ عَطَاءٍ خَيْرٌ وَأَوْسَعُ مِنَ الصَّبْرِ " .
Traduction
Rapporté par Abu Sa'id al-Khudri رضي الله عنه : Des gens parmi les Ansar ont demandé l’aumône au Messager d’Allah ﷺ et il leur a donné. Ils ont redemandé et il leur a encore donné, jusqu’à ce qu’il n’ait plus rien à leur offrir. Il a alors dit : « Tout bien (richesse, biens) que j’ai, je ne vous le cacherai pas. Celui qui s’abstient de demander, Allah le préservera du besoin. Celui qui cherche à se suffire, Allah lui accordera la suffisance. Et celui qui fait preuve de patience, Allah lui donnera la force d’endurer. Personne ne reçoit un don meilleur et plus grand que la patience. »
