Sahih Muslim 2393
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ، - يَعْنِي الْحِزَامِيَّ - عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لَيْسَ الْمِسْكِينُ بِهَذَا الطَّوَّافِ الَّذِي يَطُوفُ عَلَى النَّاسِ فَتَرُدُّهُ اللُّقْمَةُ وَاللُّقْمَتَانِ وَالتَّمْرَةُ وَالتَّمْرَتَانِ " . قَالُوا فَمَا الْمِسْكِينُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ " الَّذِي لاَ يَجِدُ غِنًى يُغْنِيهِ وَلاَ يُفْطَنُ لَهُ فَيُتَصَدَّقَ عَلَيْهِ وَلاَ يَسْأَلُ النَّاسَ شَيْئًا " .
Traduction
Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Le pauvre (miskin) n’est pas celui qui fait le tour des gens et repart avec une ou deux bouchées ou une ou deux dattes. » Les compagnons ont demandé : « Ô Messager d’Allah, alors qui est le miskin ? » Il a dit : « C’est celui qui n’a pas assez pour vivre, mais qui ne se fait pas remarquer pour que les gens lui donnent l’aumône, et qui ne demande rien aux autres. »
