حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، وَعَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ لاَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ فِي شَىْءٍ مِنْ دُعَائِهِ إِلاَّ فِي الاِسْتِسْقَاءِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ إِبْطَيْهِ . غَيْرَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الأَعْلَى قَالَ يُرَى بَيَاضُ إِبْطِهِ أَوْ بَيَاضُ إِبْطَيْهِ .
Translation
Rapporté par Anas رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ n’avait pas l’habitude de lever les mains dans ses invocations, sauf lorsqu’il demandait la pluie. (Dans ce cas, il levait les mains si haut qu’on voyait la blancheur de ses aisselles.) ‘Abd al-A‘la a dit qu’il doutait s’il s’agissait d’une seule aisselle ou des deux
