Sahih Muslim 1535
وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ، قَالَ أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَنَحْنُ شَبَبَةٌ مُتَقَارِبُونَ فَأَقَمْنَا عِنْدَهُ عِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَحِيمًا رَقِيقًا فَظَنَّ أَنَّا قَدِ اشْتَقْنَا أَهْلَنَا فَسَأَلَنَا عَنْ مَنْ تَرَكْنَا مِنْ أَهْلِنَا فَأَخْبَرْنَاهُ فَقَالَ " ارْجِعُوا إِلَى أَهْلِيكُمْ فَأَقِيمُوا فِيهِمْ وَعَلِّمُوهُمْ وَمُرُوهُمْ فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ فَلْيُؤَذِّنْ لَكُمْ أَحَدُكُمْ ثُمَّ لْيَؤُمَّكُمْ أَكْبَرُكُمْ " .
Traduction
Rapporté par Malik b. Huwairith : Nous sommes venus voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ et nous étions tous de jeunes hommes d’âge proche. Nous sommes restés avec lui vingt nuits, et comme le Messager d’Allah ﷺ était très bienveillant et doux de cœur, il a compris que nous avions envie de retrouver nos familles (nous avions le mal du pays). Il nous a donc interrogés sur nos familles restées derrière nous, et quand nous l’avons informé, il a dit : « Retournez auprès de vos familles, restez avec elles, enseignez-leur (la foi et les pratiques de l’islam) et encouragez-les au bien. Quand l’heure de la prière arrive, que l’un de vous fasse l’appel à la prière, puis que le plus âgé d’entre vous dirige la prière. »
