Sahih Muslim 1041
وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، ح قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَّى مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ الأَنْصَارِيُّ لأَصْحَابِهِ الْعِشَاءَ فَطَوَّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَانْصَرَفَ رَجُلٌ مِنَّا فَصَلَّى فَأُخْبِرَ مُعَاذٌ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ مُنَافِقٌ . فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلَ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَخْبَرَهُ مَا قَالَ مُعَاذٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَتُرِيدُ أَنْ تَكُونَ فَتَّانًا يَا مُعَاذُ إِذَا أَمَمْتَ النَّاسَ فَاقْرَأْ بِالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا . وَسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى . وَاقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ . وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى " .
Traduction
Rapporté par Jabir : Mu'adh b. Jabal al-Ansari dirigeait la prière de nuit pour ses compagnons et la rendait très longue. L’un d’entre nous a prié seul après s’être séparé du groupe. Mu'adh en a été informé et a dit que c’était un hypocrite. Quand cette remarque est parvenue à l’homme, il est allé voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ et l’a informé de ce que Mu'adh avait dit. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ lui a alors dit : « Mu'adh, veux-tu mettre les gens à l’épreuve ? Quand tu diriges la prière, récite : “Par le soleil et sa clarté du matin” (sourate ash-Shams), “Glorifie le nom de ton Seigneur le Très-Haut” (sourate al-A‘la), “Lis au nom de ton Seigneur” (sourate al-‘Alaq), et “Par la nuit quand elle s’étend” (sourate al-Lail). »
