Sunan Ibn Majah 1010
حَدَّثَنَا عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدَّارِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ صَلَّيْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ نَحْوَ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ ثَمَانِيَةَ عَشَرَ شَهْرًا وَصُرِفَتِ الْقِبْلَةُ إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ بَعْدَ دُخُولِهِ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ بِشَهْرَيْنِ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ إِذَا صَلَّى إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ أَكْثَرَ تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِهِ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَعَلِمَ اللَّهُ مِنْ قَلْبِ نَبِيِّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَنَّهُ يَهْوَى الْكَعْبَةَ فَصَعِدَ جِبْرِيلُ فَجَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُتْبِعُهُ بَصَرَهُ وَهُوَ يَصْعَدُ بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ يَنْظُرُ مَا يَأْتِيهِ بِهِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ {قَدْ نَرَى تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ} الآيَةَ فَأَتَانَا آتٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّ الْقِبْلَةَ قَدْ صُرِفَتْ إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ وَقَدْ صَلَّيْنَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ وَنَحْنُ رُكُوعٌ فَتَحَوَّلْنَا فَبَنَيْنَا عَلَى مَا مَضَى مِنْ صَلاَتِنَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " يَا جِبْرِيلُ كَيْفَ حَالُنَا فِي صَلاَتِنَا إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ " . فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ {وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُضِيعَ إِيمَانَكُمْ} .
Translation
Rapporté par Bara’ : Nous avons prié avec le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) en direction de Bayt al-Maqdis (Jérusalem) pendant dix-huit mois, puis la Qiblah a été changée vers la Ka‘bah deux mois après l’arrivée du Prophète (ﷺ) à Médine. Quand le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) priait vers Bayt al-Maqdis, il levait souvent son visage vers le ciel, et Allah savait ce qu’il y avait dans le cœur de Son Prophète et combien il désirait prier en direction de la Ka‘bah. Jibril est alors apparu dans le ciel, et le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) l’a observé descendre entre le ciel et la terre, attendant de voir ce qu’il allait apporter. Puis Allah a révélé ces paroles : « Nous voyons le visage que tu tournes vers le ciel. Nous allons donc te tourner vers une Qiblah qui te plaira. Tourne donc ton visage vers la Mosquée sacrée (à La Mecque). Où que vous soyez, tournez vos visages dans cette direction. » [2:144] Quelqu’un est alors venu nous dire : « La Qiblah a été changée vers la Ka‘bah. » Nous avions déjà prié deux unités en direction de Jérusalem et nous étions en inclinaison. Nous nous sommes alors retournés et avons continué la prière. Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Ô Jibril ! Qu’en est-il de notre prière en direction de Bayt al-Maqdis ? » Puis Allah a révélé ces paroles : « Et Allah ne laissera pas perdre votre foi. »
