While returning from travel

اللّٰهُ اَکۡبَرُ ، اللّٰهُ اَکۡبَرُ ، اللّٰهُ اَکۡبَرُ ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ سَاجِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ، صَدَقَ اللّٰهُ وَعْدَهُ وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ وَهَزَمَ الأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ

Transliteration

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku, wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa alaa kulli shay in Qadeer, aaiboona, taaiboona, aabidoona, saajidoona, lirabbinaa haamidoona, sadaqallaahu wadahu, wa nasara abdahu, wa hazamal-ahzaaba wahdahu.

Translation

Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things omnipotent. We return, repent, worship and praise our Lord. Allah fulfilled His promise, aided His Servant, and single-handedly defeated the allies.

When Leaving Home (1)

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ تَوَكَّلْـتُ عَلَى اللّٰهِ، لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُـوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللّٰهِ

In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah; there is no might and no power but in Allah.

Abu Dawud: 5095

When Leaving Home (2)

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَضِلَّ أَوْ أُضَلَّ أَوْ أَزِلَّ أَوْ أُزَلَّ أَوْ أَظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ أَوْ أَجْهَلَ أَوْ يُجْهَلَ عَلَىَّ

O Allah, I take refuge with You lest I should stray or be led astray, or slip or be tripped, or oppress or be oppressed, or behave foolishly or be treated foolishly.’ slip: i.e. to commit a sin unintentionally

Abu Dawud: 5094

Upon Entering Home

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ وَلَجْنَا وَبِسْمِ اللّٰهِ خَرَجْنَا وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا

In the name of Allah we enter and in the name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we place our trust.

Abu Dawud: 5096

When going up the Stairs / Ascending a high place

اَللّٰہُ اَکۡبَرُ

Allah is the Most Great!

Sahih Al-Bukhari: 2993

When coming down of Stairs / Descending from high place

سُبْحَانَ اللّٰه

Glory be to Allah

For travel

سُبۡحٰنَ الَّذِیۡ سَخَّرَ لَنَا ہٰذَا وَ مَا کُنَّا لَہٗ مُقۡرِنِیۡنَ ۙ وَ اِنَّا اِلٰی رَبِّنَا لَمُنۡقَلِبُوۡنَ

Glory unto Him Who created this transportation, for us, though we were unable to create it on our own. And unto our Lord we shall return.

When night approaches during Travel

يَا أَرْضُ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكِ اللّٰهُ أَعُوذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنْ شَرِّكِ وَشَرِّ مَا فِيكِ وَشَرِّ مَا خُلِقَ فِيكِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَدِبُّ عَلَيْكِ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنْ أَسَدٍ وَأَسْوَدَ وَمِنَ الْحَيَّةِ وَالْعَقْرَبِ وَمِنْ سَاكِنِ الْبَلَدِ وَمِنْ وَالِدٍ وَمَا وَلَدَ

O earth, my Lord and your Lord is Allah; I seek refuge in Allah from your evil, the evil of what you contain, the evil of what has been created in you, and the evil of what creeps upon you; I seek refuge in Allah from lions, from large black snakes, from other snakes, from scorpions, from the evil of jinn which inhabit a settlement, and from a parent and his offspring.

Abu Dawud: 2603

For accommodation

رَّبِّ اَنۡزِلۡنِیۡ مُنۡزَلًا مُّبٰرَکًا وَّ اَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الۡمُنۡزِلِیۡنَ

My Lord, let me land at a blessed landing place, and You are the best to accommodate [us].

Surah Al-Muminoon - 23:29

Before sleeping at night during travel

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللّٰهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ

I seek refuge in the Perfect Words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.

When starting ablution

بِسۡمِ اللّٰہِ

In the name of Allah.
