Upon entering Masjid (1)

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ وَالسَّلاَمُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللّٰهِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ

Transliteration

Bismillah, was-salamu ‘ala Rasulillah, Allahummagh-firli dhunubi waftah li abwaba rahmatika

Translation

In the name of Allah, and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, forgive me my sins and open the gates of Your mercy for me.

When going to the Masjid

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ فِي لِسَانِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ فِي سَمْعِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ فِي بَصَرِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ خَلْفِي نُورًا، وَأَمَامِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ فَوْقِي نُورًا، وَمِنْ تَحْتِي نُورًا ، اللَّهُمَّ وَأَعْظِمْ لِي نُورًا

O Allah, place light in my heart, light in my tongue, light in my hearing, light in my eyesight, light on my right hand, light on my left hand, light in front of me, light behing me, light below me, O Allah, give me abundant light.

Upon entering Masjid (2)

أَعُوذُ بِاللّٰهِ الْعَظِيمِ وَبِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيمِ وَسُلْطَانِهِ الْقَدِيمِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ

I take refuge with Allah, The Supreme and with His Noble Face, and His eternal authority from the accursed devil

Upon Leaving Masjid (1)

[اَلصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللّٰهِ] اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ

[Prayers and Peace be upon the Messenger of Allah]. O Allah, I ask You from Your favour.

Upon Leaving Masjid (2)

[اَلصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللّٰهِ] اللَّهُمَّ اعْصِمْنِي مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ

[Prayers and Peace be upon the Messenger of Allah]. O Allah, protect me from the accursed Shaitan.

When starting ablution

بِسۡمِ اللّٰہِ

In the name of Allah.

Ibn Majah: 397

When given a drink

اللَّهُمَّ أَطْعِمْ مَنْ أَطْعَمَنِي وَأَسْقِ مَنْ أَسْقَانِي

O Allah! Feed him who fed me and give him drink who gave me to drink.

Sahih Muslim: 2055 (a)

Before Sleeping (1)

بِاسْمِكَ رَبِّي وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي، وَبِكَ أَرْفَعُهُ، فَإِنْ أَمْسَكْتَ نَفْسِي فَارْحَمْهَا، وَإِنْ أَرْسَلْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا، بِمَا تَحْفَظُ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ

In Your name my Lord, I lie down and in Your name I rise, so if You should take my soul then have mercy upon it, and if You should return my soul then protect it in the manner You do so with Your righteous servants.

At-Tirmidhi: 3401

Before Sleeping (4)

بِاسْـمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا

In Your name O Allah, I live and die.

Sahih Al-Bukhari: 6324

When you wake up (1)

اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ الَّذِیۡ أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ

All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection.

Sahih Al-Bukhari: 6312

After leaving toilet

غُفۡرَانَکَ

I ask You (Allah) for forgiveness.
