For forgiveness and Allah's mercy (4)

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمۡنَاۤ اَنۡفُسَنَا ٜ وَ اِنۡ لَّمۡ تَغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَ تَرۡحَمۡنَا لَنَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡخٰسِرِیۡنَ

Transliteration

Rabbana zalamna anfusina wa il lam taghfir lana wa tarhamna lana kunan minal-khasireen

Translation

Our Lord! We have wronged our own souls: If thou forgive us not and bestow not upon us Thy Mercy, we shall certainly be lost.

Notes

Read this dua to atone your sins! Prophet Adam (AS) and Hawwa (AS) asked forgiveness from Allah by reciting this dua.

Surah Al-A'raf - 7:155-156

For forgiveness and Allah's mercy (2)

رَبَّنَاۤ اٰمَنَّا فَاغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَ ارۡحَمۡنَا وَ اَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الرّٰحِمِیۡنَ

Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!

Surah Al-Muminoon - 23:109

For forgiveness and Allah's mercy (3)

رَّبِّ اغۡفِرۡ وَ ارۡحَمۡ وَ اَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الرّٰحِمِیۡنَ

My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!

Surah Al-Muminoon - 23:118

For forgiveness and Allah's mercy (5)

رَبَّنَاۤ اٰتِنَا مِنۡ لَّدُنۡکَ رَحۡمَۃً وَّ ہَیِّیٔۡ لَنَا مِنۡ اَمۡرِنَا رَشَدًا

Our Lord! Bestow on us Mercy from Thyself, and dispose of our affair for us in the right way!

Surah Al-Kahf - 18:10

For forgiveness (1)

رَبِّ اِنِّیۡۤ اَعُوۡذُ بِکَ اَنۡ اَسۡـَٔلَکَ مَا لَـیۡسَ لِیۡ بِہٖ عِلۡمٌ ؕ وَ اِلَّا تَغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ وَ تَرۡحَمۡنِیۡۤ اَکُنۡ مِّنَ الۡخٰسِرِیۡنَ

O my Lord! I seek refuge with You from asking You that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have Mercy on me, I would indeed be one of the losers.

Surah Hud - 11:47

For forgiveness (2)

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي

Lord, forgive me. My Lord, forgive me.

An-Nasai: 1146

For forgiveness (3)

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَعَافِنِي وَاهْدِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي

O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, heal me, and provide for me.

Abu Dawud: 850

For forgiveness (4)

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي كُلَّهُ دِقَّهُ وَجِلَّهُ وَأَوَّلَهُ وَآخِرَهُ وَعَلاَنِيَتَهُ وَسِرَّهُ

O Allah, forgive me all my sins, great and small, the first and the last, those that are apparent and those that are hidden.

Sahih Muslim: 483

For forgiveness (5)

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ، وَبِمُعَافَاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ، وَاَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ، لَا أُحصِي ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ أَنْتَ كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ

O Allah, I seek protection in Your pleasure from Your anger, and I seek protection in Your forgiveness from Your punishment. I seek protection in You from You. I cannot count Your praises. You are as You have praised Yourself.

Ibn Majah: 3841

For forgiveness (6)

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّٰهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ (ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ)

I ask Allah’s pardon and turn to Him in repentance. (Three Times)
