During illness

[سُوۡرَةُ الفَلَق] قُلۡ اَعُوۡذُ بِرَبِّ الۡفَلَقِ، مِنۡ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ، وَ مِنۡ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ اِذَا وَقَب، وَ مِنۡ شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِی الۡعُقَدِ، وَ مِنۡ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ اِذَا حَسَدَ [سُوۡرَةُ النَّاس] ۡقُلۡ اَعُوۡذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ، مَلِکِ النَّاسِ، اِلٰہِ النَّاسِ، مِنۡ شَرِّ الۡوَسۡوَاسِ الۡخَنَّاسِ، الَّذِیۡ یُوَسۡوِسُ فِیۡ صُدُوۡرِ النَّاسِ، مِنَ الۡجِنَّۃِ وَ النَّاسِ

Transliteration

[Surah Al-Falaq]Qul ‘A’udhu Bi-Rabbil-Falaq, Min Sharri Ma Khalaq, Wa Min Sharri Ghasiqin ‘Idha Waqab, Wa Min Sharri-Naffathati Fil-‘Uqadi, Wa Min Sharri Hasidin ‘Idha Hasad. [Surah An-Nas]Qul ‘A’udhu Bi-Rabbin-Nas, Malikin-Nas, Ilahin-Nas, Min-Sharril-Waswasil-Khan-Nas, Al-Ladhi Yuwas-wisu Fee Sudurin-Nas, Mina Al-Jinnati Wan-Nas.

Translation

[Surah Al-Falaq]Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, From the evil of that which He created, And from the evil of darkness when it settles, And from the evil of the blowers in knots, And from the evil of an envier when he envies." [Surah An-Nas]Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, The Sovereign of mankind, The God of mankind, From the evil of the retreating whisperer, Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind, From among the jinn and mankind.

Notes

Whenever Prophet (S.A.W.) became sick, he would recite these two surahs and then blow his breath over his body.
